HSEQ Director

Job Description:

• Develop and implement the company's HSEQ policies, standards, and procedures in line with local regulations and international best practices
• Monitor compliance with HSEQ regulations and standards and drive a culture of continuous improvement
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
• Develop and deliver HSEQ training programs and campaigns to raise awareness and promote a safety-conscious culture
• Manage incident reporting, investigation, and follow-up to prevent recurrence and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to address HSEQ requirements and achieve project goals
• Conduct internal HSEQ audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSEQ management, preferably in the construction or civil engineering industry
• Bachelor's degree
• Deep knowledge of HSEQ regulations and industry best practices
• Proven experience in developing and implementing HSEQ policies, standards, and procedures
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Professional certifications in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are preferred
• Experience in managing a team and working collaboratively across different departments
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
