Head of Technology
Job Description:
- Develop and execute the technological roadmap aligned with the company's overall strategic goals. Continuously assess and anticipate technological trends and advancements to ensure Company’s technology landscape serves
- Lead and drive continuous improvement in digital customer products, services and experiences.
- Build, lead and mentor a team of technology professionals, focused on delivering platforms and processes that provide a solid an resilient foundation that contributes to the success of Company’s commercial Portfolios.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence, acting as Company's technology advisory, and providing leadership and guidance to all stakeholder levels.
- Work with the Group Strategy & Operations Director to decouple Company infrastructures from legacy systems; oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT & Data infrastructure, including networks, systems, and security protocols. Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of all technology systems and platforms.
- Establish and maintain effective data management team and practices, including data governance, data quality assurance, and data security. Develop strategies for data acquisition, storage, analysis, and visualization to support informed decision-making and drive business insights.
- Evaluate and implement existing and emerging technologies and tools that have the potential to enhance event operations and drive growth. Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and operations, to understand business requirements and deliver technology solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Job Requirements:
· Proven experience 12yrs+ in a leadership role within a technology-driven organization.
· Strong technical expertise across a range of technologies, including but not limited to cloud computing, cybersecurity, data and IT infrastructure.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic technology plans that drive business results.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
· Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering results on time and within budget.
· Experience working in the events and/or media industry is a plus.
· Experience in KSA is desired.
